[INTERVIEW] Boys Republic on being idols and where they can’t wait to visit in Europe
With Boys’ Republic’s European tour fast approaching (the first date is in Paris on the 3rd of July before coming to the UK the next day), we recently got the chance to ask the band a few questions. They told us about the best and worst things about being idols and what they like to do on their downtime. We also asked them what they’re most looking forward to doing when they visit Europe next month.
What’s like to have such a big age difference? Is it awkward?
Actually, it’s not really awkward but there are times when we feel a difference in our physical fitness levels.
How long did you train before debuting?
We’ve been training from between 3 to 10 years.
What is the most difficult thing about being an idol?
During training the most difficult thing was battling with ourselves. To win the victory over your inner self is the way to being an idol.
What is the best thing?
Having all our fans Royal family to love and support us.
What do you normally do when you have a day off?
We’ve gotten into cycling recently after buying new bikes. You can see pictures on our Instagram.
Which city in Europe are you most looking forward to visiting?
It’s very difficult to choose one place but we’d really like to take pictures at the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Where do you want to visit in London?
Emrates Stadium! We’d love to go to Arsenal’s home stadium.
Which song are you most looking forward to performing in Europe?
We can’t wait to show you our new song ‘Hello’
Do you have anything you want to say to your fans in the UK and Europe?
Please wait a little longer for us. We’ll come and visit you soon with an awesome stage.
Boys’ Republic will be doing eight concertss in seven different European countries at the start of July. You can find full details about the shows and how to buy tickets here.
