Box Office smash Train to Busan to be shown ahead of London Korean Film Festival

The biggest film of the year in Korea is getting a special screening ahead of this year’s London Korean Film Festival. Train to Busan is playing at Picturehouse Central on Shaftesbury Avenue on 6th October.

The film which stars Gong Yoo, Jung Yu-mi and Ma Dong-seok and was directed by King of Pigs director Yeon Sang-ho has been so popular in Korea it’s sold over 10 million tickets and there are rumours already of a sequel.

Tickets are yet to go on sale but will become available soon through the festival’s website.

The actual festival runs from 3rd to 27th November. The full line-up has yet to be announced but this year the Opening Gala will feature The Truth Beneath with Director Lee Kyoung-mi and star actress Son Ye-jin kicking off the “Special Focus on Women Directors” strand at this year’s event.
